The formula is based on BERGALUXE™, a proprietary Verel active ingredient derived from bergamot leaves, which provides antioxidant defense. In an in vivo study against a placebo on 30 volunteers over 28 days, the active ingredient showed an 11.6% increase in brightness and an 8.5% increase in elasticity, double the results of the placebo. Glycolic acid and PHAs gradually and gently refine the surface, while niacinamide helps even out the complexion and support the skin barrier.
